The Home away from Home

When you walk up the road, cut through the meadow, and take a left at the giant oak tree. Before you will stand the house on the hill. Or it won't? How does a house that big go missing? Did it grow legs and walk away?

This will be a short (and hopefully) entertaining story about a sizeable forgotten mansion.
