Wilros awakens in an unfamiliar cabin, his head throbbing, his body weak, and his memories fractured. He doesn’t yet realize that he has been missing for far longer than he can comprehend—or that the antlers now sprouting from his head mark him as something unnatural.

He awakens to a modernized hub of regulated magic, where people like him—those who wield power outside the strict boundaries of institutions—are viewed with suspicion. And as fragments of his lost time resurface, so too does the looming shadow of the one who cursed him, a villain whose influence may yet stretch into this new era.
