    Dont get me wrong the novel has great bones but rushes a mile a minute. The plot starts of as the big bad makes the dumbest thing he could by putting the MC into a position of power as a punishment the perfect place to oppose his monopoly plans. For a schemer who has been plotting this for a while not a very intelligent move. After a while its revealed that the thiefs guild have hidden their influence and scope all along. So now or MC is being targeted by the big bad. Thats all well and good but the novel never gives the reader/MC any time to immerse themselves in this organization. So instead of getting the bare minimum amount of info about anything (he has had the position for days) he rushes off to literal unknown lands with close to no preparation...the guild could have sent the lowest tier member and would have been better off. The book really wants you to suspend you disbelief as the MC fumbles through situations as the world bends around him for him to meet his goals. The novel needs to slow down and let the characters breath a little, smooth over the dumb decisions not run into every problem head-on for a thiefs guild theres not a lot of information sharing going on...

    Guildmaster Theif is an unexpected gem. It is reminecent of Raymond Feist's 'Jimmy the Hand' character.
    It follows the Ralan, a childish hell-raiser, who has avoided responsibility all his life.  His older brother inadvertently gives him a reason to 'grow up'. In the first 20 chapters, his life gets turned upside down, survives an attempt on his life, and becomes part of a secret society.   I'm sure the next 20 or more will be just as exciting.
    I haven't noticed any egregious typos or grammer issues.
