After the Earth’s great cataclysm, an event that wiped out the majority of mankind, the planet ascended to another plane, one filled with supernatural beings. Awakeners, humans with special talents capable of fending off supernatural beings, were born amongst the survivors. Three hundred years later, humanity still struggles to survive against the natives of the ascended plane. Join Sam, a talentless individual, as he prays to an unknown entity and changes the trajectory of his life.

- SoulxlightRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great novel so far. I'll update the review as more story is released but so far I'm impressed. Even though the novel isn't far along yet we have a good idea about the basics of the world, the magic/talent/power system and some of our main cast. The MC is likeable, a mixture of timid, beatened down, but still brave in his own way. The novel also is a great mix of semi serious but still lighthearted enough to read while relaxing and not stressing. Look forward to what's to come.
