Description

Kassiel has always had bad luck. Orphaned at a young age, he was taken in by a martial arts obsessed grandfather, and developed a crippling addiction to gacha games. Worse yet, he was run over by a truck.

Reincarnated in another world where creatures of myth and legend roam the land, he’s pressed into the service of a goddess, tasked with hunting down her enemies. Luckily, he does have one advantage: a gacha system. Something that can give him every conceivable skill, weapon, or item that he could ever need. So long as he’s lucky enough to pull them.

Wait, luck? Goddess damn it…

Hoo! Just completed the latest chapter and saw the author's note.
So, here I am trying to undo the injustice of zero reviews by writing my first review. It's pretty late into the night here and I am drowsy. So…..
Story: It's awesome, with MC slowly unravelling the workings of the world and beasts and races are unique enough to know that the author clearly put some thought into the story. The MC does not get OP suddenly and unlike some other Gacha stories, the items he receives from the Gacha do not suddenly solve any crisis he is in.
    (GO AHEAD AND READ IT)
Character: I certainly like the MC’s personality and his approach to his new life. He doesn’t feel unnatural or 2D. And for people who dislike characters in the story having anime character personalities, I ascertain that all characters feel real.
Grammar: As you can see from my review English is not my native language, I am not the best Judge there is BUT… I certainly didn’t notice any mistakes, maybe my brain auto corrected them. So, let me go on the leg and say the grammar is perfect. At least it doesn’t break the flow of the story.
Style:  The author clearly knows what he(she?) is doing and is good enough not to cause any immersion breaks.
The below spoiler is me rambling about stuff not related to the story too much, it is for grammar nazi's ig.
If anyone notices any mistakes in my review, feel free to DM me, just keeping it here cause many eyes will see this after the novel gets into rising stars( famous), just hoping someone will provide feedback, as I am looking to improve my english.

So far, writing has been good, characters have been good, alls good. The descriptions for fights are generally something I get picky about but they’re well paced and not under or over wordy. Dialogue flows well and characters are interesting. Only thing is that the hesitance to spend stat points in fear that they’d be badly spent is kinda weird as the MC doesn’t seem like one to underutilize a resource. Otherwise everything’s great! Can’t wait to see how the story continues

The author asked for review, so here we go. I like the mc. I'm at chapter 20 and things are starting to pick up. I'm not big fan of being brought to new world without the ability to protect yourself immediately.it defeats the purpose. This gacha system is underwhelming so far. Hopefully in a couple of chapters he become more powerful.
