The Fragments of Corruption

In the world of Ruk, meddling with the Foundation of the soul is a death sentence, but for Iko, things are far more complicated. During a brutal raid by an enemy kingdom, her soul is shattered by a general’s strike, leaving her to die amidst a storm of hate and sorrow.

But death doesn’t come. Instead, Iko awakens in a dark laboratory, her body tethered to machines extracting a mysterious liquid and injecting a thick, black ichor into her veins. She discovers that the ichor binds her to the essence of an ancient, corrupted dragon—granting her destructive powers that twist reality and decay all that she touches.

The more she uses the dragon’s power, the stronger its influence grows over her, threatening to consume what's left of her soul. Haunted by the dragon's whispers and hunted by enemies who fear her, Iko is forced to uncover the truth behind the dragon’s fall and the curse that binds them. As her humanity slips away, Iko faces an impossible choice: break the curse or let the corruption destroy everything she once was.
