A new type of story - I haven't come across a book that combines Gamelit with cultivation.
An interesting and intense read. Grammar is flawless, language is sleek and polished and the flow of the story is smooth. Pace of the story is also fast, the world-jump was unexpected and fun to experience. Loved how the battle scenes are written - it reads almost like a samurai movie!
Even though the storyline is serious - there is a healthy mix of humor in some parts. You get to explore the world with the character, get confused with him through the introduction of the new elements, and discover things as he discovers and explores them. There is a sense of grandeur which gets merged with the relatability of a common 20-year-old struggling in their own ways. The first line of the first chapter is a good example of this - how the author has explained why the main character has been given his name.
Still early chapters, so it will be exciting to see what the author has in mind and how gamelit interfuses with cultivation as the story becomes more complex. It will be also be interesting to see how the author manages power scaling.
