I'm not particularly good at writing reviews, so I'll just say this. Over the 3ish years I've been on this site, I've read hundreds, maybe thousands of stories. I've reviewed 6 or 7 of them. This one is worth a rating even though I find it to be a massive pain in my ass.
If you handed me this as a paperback, I'd be asking where I could get it in hardcover. This is a novel. Not a story with 16 chapters. I need the rest of the novel. I am willing to send toe pics to get it if I have to. Hopefully a review will be enough that I don't have to.
You are extremely talented, I'm lucky to have had the chance to read this, and I can't wait to buy it off of Amazon when you finish it.

If you are wondering whether to give this story a try, I strongly recommend it!
Plot:
The story is engaging and enjoyable. The LitRPG elements are explained. No arbitrary existence of a system, or transmigration of an MC - just because.
The MC is a "Janus unit" activated by an autonomous defence system to deal with an Apocolaptic-level threat. Think of a decrepit post-human civilization, 3d-printing a defender based on a body and brain scan of a 21st-century human. (The body is upgraded though.) The MC gets to explore a medieval civilization of elf-like beings, which exists amid the remains, of the advanced civilization. (There is mention of what may be a more advanced civilization in another country, given that they can manufacture some technology similar to the advanced civilization.)
All the story elements shown so far are consistent.
Writing:
The writing is good, with no grammatical errors of note. The prose flows smoothly and allows for immersion.
It is still early days to judge the plot or characterization, however, the characterization of Damon (the MC), the 2 supporting characters (Sybil & Handrondi) and 2 villagers (Knight and his daughter) is believable and enjoyable. The author has also taken the pains to characterize the assumed antagonist (Emilie), humanizing her.
Overall the writing is publication quality, and I would consider this story (so far) as being one of the best on RR.
