Description

In the beginning there was nothing; save an endless void.

This is a prologue to the second age - it talks about how a sentient universe came to be and how it, in turn, created a planet and a host of gods to occupy it.

One day, Dem - The God of Death - is put out of commission and this omnipresent entity, who has thus far remained undiscovered, must pitch in to save the cycle of reincarnation.

It is on its rounds that this ultimate God discovers, although it knows everything about mortals, it cannot understand the emotions which drive them. When accused of not having aheartby someone about to die, it seeks to prove them wrong by living a hundred mortal lives. --- Enter, The Second Age.

Only read the first chapter as that's all there is, but it was very enjoyable, and unique. Looking forward to what comes next.  Only thing I wish was included was a god of dragons.
Story is well written and I couldn't find any errors, although I am by no means very good at spotting that kinda stuff.

So far I'm loving reading this. I'm not quite used to reading first-person narratives, which this seems to mostly be, but I like it. And it makes sense seeing as the narrator is the universe itself.
Style and Grammar - Could use a little bit of work, but overall good. Be careful of your tenses and whether you're in first person or second person. Decide who your narrator is and stick with that. It makes sense for the universe to be the narrator, and for things to be written from its perspective. There are some spots where you slip up and write "us" when you're talking about the gods. Yes the universe is an uber-god, but it's also not conscious when you refer to the group as "us".
Story and Character are both GREAT! I love the characters and their interactions, and the idea of a sentient universe is so cool. I can see where you drew influences from different religions and such, and love that. I think my favorite characters are Mekir and Athae (I don't know how to do the combined a and e, sorry!). I am suspicious of where she went during this last chapter.
I also love the detail and logic you go into with the gods making life. It doesn't just spontaneously spring forth, but starts with certain essential building blocks, and starts from the bottom up with a cycle of life and death. This story element is incredibly well thought out and interesting.
The only thing that distracted me with the story is in the second chapter where you mention a couple times the four races, when there are five. I thought at first it might be foreshadowing when I read it in the beginning blurb to the chapter, but you mentioned it later on as well, and didn't put the Dwarves in the list of progenitor gods. Fix that and you'll be golden.
Keep up the good work! I look forward to reading more. :)

As of this review I have read the first three chapters. In that time we have the dawn of a universe and the birth of several gods.
There is literally infinite potential here, so you really don’t have an excuse not to check this one out!
    now some rating breakdown:
style: the first chapter really serves as more of a prologue, after that it seems we follow the god of the cat people most closely. It is still early days so it’s hard to say for sure how things will turn out, but a view from above as an entire world plays out will be something special. I look forward to seeing more.
story: so far we have a bored super god making a universe and smaller super gods. The stated purpose for these actions is to remember the previous civilization, and then to gather power to protect from another end times, it is said… but it feels a touch hollow
that being said there are no limits in an infinite universe so there is plenty to be excited for.
grammar: a couple words were misspelled, and a few sentenced to be read twice in order to understand the meaning. But it’s nothing that breaks you from the story
character: so far we have only a handful in the entire universe. But they are all gods of their own domain, that necessarily means they have strong and unique personalities. Definitely the characters are where this work shines.
