The Fated End [A Cultivation Progression Fantasy with LitRPG elements]
Community Rating
Description
A world on the edge of destruction. A boy fated to bring about its end.
Shang would have been content with a simple life, but the Heavens had other plans. When all that he loves is destroyed, he must bargain his very soul for a chance at vengeance. The threads of fate yank him into a race to the heavens and what lies beyond.
As the survival of the world teeters on a sword's edge, it may be up to him to decide which way the wind blows.
Plays on common Xianxia and LitRPG themes with the goal of replicating the feeling of a long-running Shounen anime. Includes ample action, friendship, and slice-of-life filler, and is set in a Xianxia universe.

- adventuraRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Wanted to review to give this story more visibility and saw it had no reviews yet. The story has a traditional coming of age start. We see the MC at a young age and get background on his friends. In the beginning, the pacing is slow, but the writing is stunning. The author has obvious talent, and the more I read the more I realized that the world has so much flavor. There are little to no gramatical errors and the writing style is distinct. Very well written. The characters too are so intensely likeable. The friendship between the three leads is so fun to read and I can definitely see the shounen anime influence there. They feel like real people and their feelings and actions feel justified. The world is traditional ancient Chinese but it has a flair that makes it seem almost real.
As we build up to the meeting of the sect, the writing is getting more direct and action packed. This story is shaping up to be a real gem.
I hope the author continues writing. From the blurb, it seems like the story has a long way to go. I can see this being a long saga with many thousands of pages.
If a story that blends elements of traditional fantasy and progression fantasy appeals to you. Please give it a shot. - LogramothRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5So far a pretty good xanxia story that has been highly enjoyable. Updates have been slow but I'm always glad to see that a new chapter has come out. The story has been pretty good and I like all the characters so far. I think this novel has the potential to be really great but it depends on what happens after the first arc. This is a very important point in the story and I'm excited to see what will happen.
