The power of seducing...

The pain of being both - the seducer and the seduced. Long time ago and very far away...

The curse of repeating it over and over and over again. Because it's become my nature.

I'm a Fallen, the demon in love with another demon. If you can call love this desperate run-away in which humans are just pawns in our game.

Immoral? Perhaps.

But who said love is about morality?

Love is much more about death, actually...

I love you, Alistair. And I hope you will suffer as much as I do.

Because that's what love is about...

Vic was once an angel. A lonely angel on the very dark road.

Maybe he was even happy there…

Now he’s incubus, a demon in the demon’s world. Greedy. Filthy. Hungry for souls.

In between there is a love agony of him and the one who’d seduced him – his father in hell.

Highly corrupting story, unpacking in six incarnations of Vic in the human’s world.

He loves, hunts, hates and tries to solve the wicked complot behind his back.

What to expect:

The main character will be trying to charm you with every word

You’ll be annoyed with him being that perfect and that arrogant

It will become darker and darker only

He will break your heart at the end

That's what love is about, right?

The Fallen is one of my older books. He's been safely buried for years. But like all vampires he has risen from the grave recently. And I’m still not sure whether I like it…

Please, take the warnings seriously. They are not for nothing.

Releasing when I'm not depressed and eating healthy food.

The Fallen is dark and it's gritty. Admittedly it might not be everyone's cup of tea but I'm finding it a great read.
The writing style really evokes the atmosphere of a contemporary, dark, gothic horror story. The retrospective first person narrative as told by the Fallen is captivating, chilling and really pulls the reader into his mind. The Fallen's struggle with desire and temptations is very well portrayed.
The narrative is highly seductive. The reader is really pulled into the scene, I could feel it seducing and compelling me in the same way that the Fallen is seduced and compelled. That feeling really helps the reader to connect with the Fallen on quite a deep emotional level (I'm trying not to let myself get into his head too much though *shudders*).
While the descriptions of the characters and places are vague, we're often left wondering over the backstory of the fallen, what caused his 'fall', what are his motivations? It's a similar case with Alister, we're given a sense of his perverse, debauched nature but know very little about his motivations or truly understand his desires. While I can image that vagueness could be frustrating to some readers, I've found that it really helps to enhance that feeling of mystery and intrigue. The uncertainty and unpredictability around them make both characters chilling and frightening.
