Description

While casually studying for his upcoming university exams, the most shocking of event suddenly happened.

It began with flashes of light manifesting from nowhere, but quickly escalated into Aven’s entire vision becoming an absolute mess of flickering pixels and chaotic flows of unknown colors.

What he could recognize as numbers, letters, and strange symbols flew everywhere around him, obviously trying to form a coherent whole but never succeeding.

Worst of all amidst this abrupt totally foreign situation, before he could even begin to think about how mesmerizing yet absurd this spectacle was… It all stopped. As suddenly as it started.

Accompanying the end of this unique show, two things occurred.

First, knowledge aboutsomethinghad spontaneously manifested in his mind, and he could perfectly understand it, as if it had always been there.

Second, a strange, fuzzy, simultaneously comfortable and uncomfortable hot energy had made its apparition inside his body completely unannounced.

With those two events succeeding each other shortly, it didn’t take Aven more than a second to understand what just happened to him. And what a revelation it was.

He had just awakened his innate ability and his energy, joining the world of the supers, a minority that had always controlled and protected the world since ancient times…

By becoming one of them.

I like this story, a lot. I think the idea of seeing a world progress from basically modern times into a sci-fi setting is amazing. Similarly, I really enjoy the way his powers work - both his system and the actual superpower (overpowered as they may be). There aren't enough stories that are about the progress of civilization.
That is a large part of my given score - it's doing something that is rarely seen and moderately unique, and that should be rewarded.
My main issue with the story, and the reason I had to take a break from reading it, is that the main character has changed in a way that makes him very hard to read. He's become whimsical and his thoughts, our main way of engaging with the story, are as fleeting as the wind. It's very frustrating.
However, part of this has to do with something that has happened inside the story that makes some sense as he becomes non-human, so I try to temper my frustration. Also, this story is just really good and fairly unique.
    Give it a shot?

This is a super LitRPG with real chapters, and a power with fresh mechanics compared to the usual powers.
The MC also chooses to go through the "official" route, rather than hide their identity or awakening.
All in all, a series I'm ready to binge and a really nice surprise that definitely should belong to the rising stars, I hope the chapters keep having as much content in them.

I love this world, the world-building, the MC, and the storytelling.
I like the interesting growth of the OP-MC. I like that fight scenes are incidental, and the the entire purpose. I like the lack of romantic sub-stories. I just find the entire world so interesting. I started reading it yesterday, read until 2am, then woke up at 8:30 to continue reading until I got here. I want to find out what happens in this world.
It is not perfect as the MC grows, but doesn't really change or develop. There are no real secondary characters (no best friend, rival, etc.). However, it is still really engaging.

This seems to be a fresh take on the LitRPG genre. We have a MC who has an unconventional attitude regarding his ability
He keeps telling everyone he meets what exactly his ability does. However this may be due to his unawakened fairy ancestry as revealed in the story.
As of chapter 36, his ability seems very overpowered, even the MC thinks so :)
Hoping that the author is able to take the story forward in a convincing manner and meet the expectations set by the initial story.
One minor flaw according to me would be the story has introduced only one category of supers till now. I don't know how other kinds of supers are in the story as we are yet to meet an example.

You ever start watching a movie in the middle.  You have no idea whats going on. You try to figure it out, but it just gets more confusing.
Thats what i thought this was. It may be a good story,  but the beginning just throws you off. Maybe its the synopsis.  I didnt have a good idea what it was to begin with.

I'm quite a few chapters in and have seen none of the promised gore, violence, or potentially traumatizing content.  This is simply a story about a guy, with the personality of a friendly over-caffeinated puppy, who was gifted a clearly overpowered, self-elevating superpower.
Where everyone else struggles to progress linearly, he progresses exponentially.  The overpoweredness cannot be overstated; several dozen chapters in, he has downloaded and assimilated nearly all the knowledge in the world into his brain... the author humanizes this by giving him a minor headache and nosebleed.
Practically the whole story is about grinding points by building widgets and buying more ability to grind widgets (and also  buying king-fu Rambo knowledge... you will see this is totally enough for him to kill/subdue the very very occasional enemy).
Thus far, the dozen humanoid villains weren't a threat to the MC and their evilness was ambiguous; you can pretty much ignore the dangerous others, the protagonist generally does.  He just wants to grind grind grind towards power, and dirtying one's hands with actual problems or enemies would just slow down the grind.  The protagonist will (it is hinted at early) certainly abandon what little humanity he ever had.
Im not really sure why we are rooting for this selfish silly protagonist, but there are maybe reasons... maybe...
