Having all your memories erased and be reborn as a baby without any knowledge, or giving the job of managing a Dungeon without being its Core – a very easy decision for everyone, right?

“I really should have remembered from all those fanfics and dungeon stories that those ROBs always screw with their mortal playthings” growls Claudia as she checked her Status for the umpteenth time.

“How dare that... that...that manipulative thing did this to me…

And no matter what extra options he gifts me with, I will NOT use them to create a hentai dungeon or anything like that”

This will not be the usual dungeon core-type story found around here, but the main difference will only be explained in chapter 4 by the Dungeon Pixie.

Also – despite the warning please don’t expect any explicit scenes in this story. The warnings are there because mature themes will be mentioned (and not only because the Higher Power provided some special options), but the MC is dead set on evading those options as she sees them as traps. So there are no explicit descriptions planned at all.

If that changes I will give extra warnings in the chapter title, but I plan on handling things other ways. Later chapters might go a bit farther than the simple mentions in chapter 2, but don’t expect much more.

Status Update 04. April 22

Writing Buffer used up, as said before I'm switching to one chapter a week on fridays.

The new cover is the second placeholder, but what I really want will have to be commissioned and take a while. At least it is better than the map-part from chapter 4 that was the first placeholder.

Not my taste but I skimmed it to double check and write thr review.
Basically the mystery God turned the protagonist into a shape-shifting warrior woman succubus and she is very much unhappy about it along with a few gags I won't spoil. Apparently the God wants a hentai dungeon with certain tentacle monsters and the mc species to be the sexual stuff.
The characters themselves are OK, and their interactions are mostly fine for this site.
The system however appears to be one of the most annoying and mechanical variations possible. The dungeons themselves having turns, and random drawn rooms to place. Both classes/races and dungeons have tiers and the potential to be locked without further growth for reasons.
Action is mostly just a status report of what happened. It's practically offscreen.
Writing is fine, grammar is fine, action is nonexistent, dungeon building and creativity is bad, world building is fair, research seems good.
So basically a decent writer created a frustrating situation and skipped the complicated scenes. It's perfectly legible but there's no reason to read it. A God screwed over a mortal. A mortal and a fairy partner learn how screwed they are. Theoretically there's a dungeon being built. The End.
P.s. dungeon stories depend on action, monster creation, magic, building interesting floors, and antics of the monsters or adventurers. This story has at chapter Ten : 3 monsters which are never used, 2 animals, a fairy, & a nonhuman main character. Fights are introduced and then skipped to a blue screen review. Dungeon building is placing randomly selected shapes on a grid. Magic is drawing a mana glyph. For antics you basically have the 2 main characters doing tutorial and finding out how screwed they are.
If I were the author I'd redo the system, learn from others how to do fight scenes, and review some other dungeon stories to learn better about dungeon building stories.
