----------------------------------------------------
Seers are the only defense that Terra has against the monsters that lurk about in the world. Terra is a city fighting for its own survival in a fantasy world with finite resources. One of the main ways to survive is to fight. War is a common practice and more often than not the leaders of the world cannot get along with each other. In the end, however, all of this fighting does more harm than good. A young boy wishes to put an end to the wars, this boy's name is Isaac.
He holds a strong belief that everyone can be saved in this world and that no one should be given up on. Peace is something that he truly believes will help the world and allow civilians to see another day. In order to reach such an impossible goal, he will have to fight in the name of his Region.
Does he have what it takes to finally bring peace to the world with the help of his friends, or will he fail before he can even scratch the surface?

- wordsinalineRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The best part of this story is how enthusiastically the author has dove into their story. This thing has the energy, enthusiasm and unbridled creativity of a child at play.
The author has drawn in and synthesized components from many successful sources, but still needs to develop the discipline to turn that effort towards a directed and cohesive purpose.
The grammar is tough. There are mistakes here, but the thing that hits me hardest is the sentence structure. Honestly? It almost reads like it's written by someone for whom English is a second language. I see plenty of hints that the author is well read, and even has a reasonable competency in the structural elements of the language. But it almost seems like they're missing that intimate familiarity with the spoken conventions.
Style, again – has this kind of naiive charm. The scenarios and emotions are all so extreme; especially where you'd expect tempered, directed emotion, appropriate to context. I made a note of this before, it's almost like an Ed Wood kind of thing. The artist has this idea they want to express, but they haven't yet developed the nuanced emotional range to entice the reader along for the journey. Kind of like a sail boat without a safety railing.
In the story, this unpolished rawness reflects in a couple places. One is that there is very little consideration paid to the direct and logical consequences of the events or features of the story. None of the characters appearing in the story seem to be capable of medium or long term memory, making extremely dangerous decisions within moments of receiving critical evidence of personal peril. Frankly, a lot of these folks are doing things which simply don't make much sense. It's kind of funny though.
There are two roads the author could take with this. Either the vision will refine over time to a more directed experience, or they will embrace the weird and double down on the extremeness of the scenario. Either choice would do a great deal to dull the s
