Synopsis

Aldric never imagined leaving his sleepy small village, until the day he discovers his younger sister has been kidnapped by a ruthless pirate lord White Strip Jin who believes she holds the key to ancient prophecy.

Aldric, being a farmer’s boy, knows very little about the world of Vastinia. But he sets out to find his sister, only to be caught by the Roaming Bandit king Dorian Ashborn. Before he can be sold into slavery, he is saved by the Spellbane, a band of adventurers trying to do good, led by the elderly gentleman Martin Eurus, a living legend, who goes on to teach the young Aldric the art of swordplay, while they travel to the port town of Katisport.

Due to a series of misunderstandings and some bad luck, Aldric ends up on the pirate ship the Scarlet Siren, under the banner of the infamous Charlot the Siren herself. Charlot takes a liking to Aldric and decides to help him get to Pirate port 5 to find White Strip Jin and his sister.

Here, Aldric uncovers he and his sister both are a part of a prophecy to free the forgotten gods. The corrupt guardians. Together with Charlot, they find out White Strip Jin is looking for an island that only appears every decade.

Their race against White Strip Jin leads them to a mystical island that appears only once a decade. On its shores lies an ancient temple to the Guardian of Water, locked away by Aldric’s ancestors. As the ocean rises and time runs out, Aldric must confront his legacy, outsmart White Strip Jin, and save his sister. With all in hand, Aldric learns there is more to the prophecy than first thought and his part in it.Author's note:I wanted to let you know that I’m pausing the progress of this novel for the foreseeable future.I have absolutely loved writing it so far, but I’m currently juggling several creative projects, including two fantasy novella series and unfortunately, I just don’t have the time to give this story the attention it deserves right now.That said, I fully intend to return with revised chapters, new arcs, and fresh momentum in the start of 2027. My goal is to come back better prepared, with a stronger story and a release schedule you can rely on.Thank you so much for reading, and supporting this project.
