- The Roast DuckRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am really enjoying the story so far. The characters are really entertaining and have great personalities, especially Josephine. It seems like the story hasn’t gotten too far along yet, but I’m already hooked! I think you’re doing a great job at slowly setting up the atmosphere and getting the reader prepped for what’ll be coming in the future. I’m already suspicious about a few characters (looking at you, Phil). So far, my favorite thing about this story is the writing style. There’s a nice mix of comedy and seriousness. It definitely feels like it’s setting up for a chilling horror/thriller vibe, but it remains entertaining during the slower parts with the thrown in jokes and even just Josephine’s regular speech. She uses such colorful language. I think you’re doing great with this story, and I can’t wait to see what comes of it in the next chapters! I appreciate you uploading multiple times a week. I’m surprised that more people aren’t following it yet. It grabbed my attention immediately from the first part and feel like many other people would have a similar reaction, but I guess we’ll find out after you put out some more parts. I look forward to every upload!
