Description
After the System Integration and an inopportune meeting with a creature from the Outer Realms, Vincent became the one and only Eldritch Alchemist.
Vincent Blackwell was a normal law student who was nearing the end of his third and final year. He had just finished the final session of his long tabletop RPG campaign and said goodbye to his friends who he'd known for years when the System came.
Within hours, the world Vincent once knew was destroyed, and he would be the next to die if not careful. After an encounter with an alien, our hero gained powers forbidden to mortal men.
Will these powers, once thought a curse by Vincent, be his salvation?

- Crawling MadnessRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Usually I don't read novels with less than 50 chapters but I'm glad I decided against my usual routine today.
The Eldritch Alchemist for what I can see is a promising book. The author grammar is good and the chapters structure are well edited. The reading experience was fluid and the dialogue was well made.
Another thing that I liked about the book is that even with few chapters and content I could get a glimpse of the general personality of the characters and got intrigued to see what everything will come out to be between them from now on.
Keep the good work up author. I will be more than happy to see what you have in store for this book. - PBJ_TimeRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I was confused that were wasn't a lot of "alchemy" stuff stuff going on, especially with the first chapters, but everything else was a joy to read.
Style: I really wanted to give this 5 stars if this was about the prose alone since it's never pretentious and very easy to follow. My main gripe is that the stat tables didn't seem to translate well on mobile because they got squashed into thin, vertical rectangles. I'm sure they look better on PC, and that's fine by me.
Story: as I've said, I didn't really find a lot of conventional alchemy at first, at least in a traditional sense. However, the story actually knows how to pick up from the last point and is generally very competent. The cyberpunk setting is also mesmerizing and, dare I say, unique for the litRPG genre? Please take this with a grain salt, but still.
Grammar: nothing to complain here. Not even the paragraphs are stretched to oblivion compared to other litRPGs. They're short and easy to follow.
Character: I love how Vincent's characterization as this brooding, badass gunslinger with other superb abilities. He grows throughout the plot, even in smaller moments.
Overall, the author has a clear vision, even if it felt lacking with the alchemy thing at the start. - NocainRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5First: he is crafting weapons/armor/Tech...
No potions, no alchemy... So I don't know why it's called alchemist.
I stopped reading when he started to be " the most intelligent human" that always know and understood everything. Using mental illness as a Deus ex machina/ divination/ Future sight/ reason to be edgy.
Possibly playing all sides.
Well. I'm all there for a good power fantasy 😇, but I couldn't connect with the characters. And I personally don't like the strong Bible/ religious connotations ( and yes 8 get it, that it's part of the storyline)
It's okay. Can be fun and many people will like it.
I spend some hours with the book and didn't regret it... It's just not my cup of tea
Thank you author! - IrjaRoyal Road★★★ 3.0It's a good story.
But, MC is somehow a bit OP as the story progress due to plot convenience, but it's still acceptable.
However, the title's expectation and the MC's ability doesn't match
Expectation; alchemy creation using eldritch knowledge that could drive one crazier. Some spell casting, some potion, some crafting. Power comes at the cost of sanity.
Reality; MC is lunatic to begin with, which is fine. But he craft powerful item (with no cost to sanity), is gunslinger, OP stat where he could fight as fighter and lack of spell casting.
There's lack of...."eldritch" feeling in the story.
However, overall, it's a nice n good story.
