Description
Micheal remembers little of his time in the orc camp or his transition to a world that was once his own to change and create first with pen and pencil and then with strokes upon a keyboard. The slave camp is raided by Adventurers, those marked by fate to gain mysterious powers and aid them in their use of magic to chase down what evil might come after them, and Micheal is rescued after taking a devastating head wound. He comes awake to find that the world he once wrote about has changed, and that he has been marked by fate to be an adventurer in the world he once explored only in his writing and as Dungeon Master to his original setting. He quickly finds that everything he has ever written, each draft and idea, has been taken by a mysterious unknown force in this new reality and made to fit together. This throws everything he knows about his own writing into question as he meets characters and Gods of his own making while doing his best as a simple mortal man to face the fate of the world yet to come. This first book focuses on Micheal's recovery and his learning to live as an adventurer culminating in an epic final battle where Micheal finds some power of his own. He struggles to learn and explain to those he cares about just what he is even as he uncovers his own mysterious powers gained through is Adventurer's Mark. All the while his broken memory of the camp is coming back to him filling his mind with horror and pain. He struggles against an inner darkness to be a force of good in a world filled with magic and strange creatures.

- ChibrowRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0My first review on RR, I think your story deserve it. What can I say, good writing and grammar, the character and the dialogue are really organic and believable. No LITRPG element but that's a plus for me. Author's taking us on an adventure in a world of magic and monsters full of mystery and I can't wait to read the adventure of Michael and Vee !
Keep up the good work ! - pottoRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Created an account solely add a rating for this story. (Please disregard what the website might state in regards to reading history as I had to click through the chapters to leave the review)

I have really enjoyed this story so far. I find it well written, engaging, emersive and easy to invest in the characters.
If I hadn't been out of work for a little more than two years and surviving on my saving, (f^(K SSD and disability insurance making things so difficult) I would offer some form of remuneration.
Keep up the good work.
