- Eric VanderlipRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Intriguing premise (becoming a dragon's personal bard to save his daughter's life) and interesting take on dragons in general. The pace is solid and exciting. Conversation and events flow naturally together. Lot of tension and absurdity (in a good way). The minor grammar mistakes do not detract from the story. It's a fun read.
- EverseasRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I've been into reading LitRPG lately, so when I ran into this story, I was not sure if I should give it a chance. But, I'm a sucker for dragons, so, I started reading it and I have to say, my biggest complaint is that there are only 3 chapters out.
Still, I consider the beginning of the story to be quite original, and I think its MC and dragon are quite unique. I also like the speed the story develops and how no time is wasted on unnecessary descriptions and conversations.
Also, the writing style is good and is a notch above what is average around here.
All in all, I hope my positive review will encourage the author to post some more chapters soon. - Jack0fheartRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The Dragon's Bard is a captivating and well-written journey through a world filled with dragons and bards.
