So far a very good story. With a slow build that shows you some of the steps and paths to all corrupting POWER. The character development is going steady and shows a lot of promise.  The answer to the MC's final decision should be interesting.  Why oh why do they make it so hard to do a review.

I first read this on kindle but it's the same story. The emotions the author evokes and the feel of the characters and world building are top notch in my opinion. The litrpg portions are classic with a some twists. Overall I say top quality fiction. I'm starting to reread now.

Great read. The first chapters can be a little frustrating with MC who is physically very underwhelming, mentally too. But, give it a few chapters and he'll find his feet, and provide a very enjoyable reading experience.
Kudos on the RPG and Magic system. The dialogue is natural, and the MC is someone you can relate to (once he gets his bearings.)

This is a LitRPG that does well what it set out to do: a slightly OP main character, but with room to grow and growth achieved by his efforts not gifted to him, with motivations that may seem a bit bare, but that make the plot move. An interesting system, threatening foes for the MC to overcome, it really well done. The points to improve are only more evident due to the overall quality, I would want to maybe get the MC some companions, preferably three dimensional ones. Overall, an above average fiction for this site.

It has a fairly good storyline that doesn't hurt to reread and is a good choice for first-time readers. The character progression is interesting. I can't wait for book 3; I have no idea if it's going to be released here or on Amazon Kindle first. The plot is sometimes confusing, and several stories have a similar hook- evil overlord and human underdogs, but otherwise, it's good.

Not bad, I read it all the way through but almost put dropped it out of boredom.
The characters need more personality and the game they're playing in seems super generic like I'm playing a wow clone.
A couple of reviews have used the word edgy to describe the main character I think but I don't see it.
I think the author could definitely write a really good book in the future if more attention is placed on making the characters feel more real.

Decent story but unlikable MC who is selfish as hell.
Spends the entire book talking about how he is going to strike out on his own. The author's plot armor ability will save the MC tho! LIke in every fight lmao.
if you like edgy MC's who hate humanity this is your fic!

It's good, it's decently written, and there's the core of a good story there. It's got the core of a litrpg with enough unusual elements to make the world interesting. Grammar's good, dialogue is passable (The characters are modern humans, but talk like high fantasy humans, which is odd but readable), characters have their own voices, even if they're a bit flat overall, and the world presented is interesting, though nothing groundbreaking. Overall, definitely above average.
    But god is it edgy/cringe.
Now if you love that sort of thing, go for it, this would be more like 4.5-5 stars for you. But go into it expecting grim dedication to terrible vengeance, Gamers™ treated as a whole different breed, trading lifeforce for power, getting way stronger through dark, burning rage, etc. That said, the main character is a Gamer with a massive chip on his shoulder, so it is relatively in character.
And most stories I've seen with these sorts of tropes play into the ridiculousness and go for dark/wry humor, but Dragon Mage seems to play it 100% straight. To my tastes that makes it closer to a 2/5. I know a decent number of people enjoy that though, so if that's your bag, give it a read for sure.

I'm enjoying reading this so far, but there are some things that don't make a heck of a lot of sense from a social dynamics perspective.
When you go through some portal to another land, and you've got a spear thrust into your hands and told to fight, a huge number of people are just gonna say no. Conscription like that requires a lot of effort and they don't have the ability to force people in that way that I can see.
The longest anyone has been in the new land when he gets there is a couple of weeks, right? They're really unified for that short time considering the number of new people dropping in consistently and the fact that most people taking the option to go there are stubborn/independent as hell.
The MC as well is untrusting and a bit of an egomaniac, and everyone around him seems to share those characteristics. You've unfortunately built in a bunch of people that all think that they and only they know best and communication is unnecessary. It's usually a mistake. Feels like you should consider how people work together a bit more and what makes projects and relationships successful.

Overall is a decent execution of the well known premise, of people transported to another world to power up or die
We can see the potential for OPness, the need of humanity has of a savior, the promise of side characters and so on
The post apocalyptic angle is more of a technicality, as the world is destroyed, but humanity is transported to another realm, it promises to be more of a base building scenario
But its very easy to see where the author is forcing the story to go onto a certain drection, instead of building up the characters, in a way that would make sense for them to go on those directions
The MC rushes into developing dragon magic, despite not knowing what spells are available or what it can do, besides the obligatory dragon breath
This happens in a scenario where the dragon breath would indeed be useful, but developing his fire magic would be easier and equally effective, plus the added benefit of serving as a reference to eventually develop the draconic equivalent
Nevetheless he succeeds, and its exatcly the thing he needs at that moment, and its not exactly dragon breath either but its shoot from the hands
There was no reason to believe it was even possible, yet he gambled on it, and it paid off
Other reviews say this happens again later on
It all depends on the kind of story you are looking for at the moment, if you are looking for something light give it a try
