- tyrande1231Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Just the prolouge itself tells me that this have great potential!
Writing Style - Have seen nothing to complain about. Not too "profound" or "deep" words use but i dont recommend forcing it if not used to it :) (im not complaining that you doesnt word deep words though)
Story - Still in progress havent seen the plot yet. Its normal pace for me.
Grammar - Havent notice grammatical error.
Character - Only 4 noticable character so far. Father Sis Mom MC. Just fine - patcan3609Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5The story has a somewhat slow start and is placed within a generic beginning where the main character is a prodigy with the highest talents. However at this onward the plot begins the piece together as more side characters are introduced. Each character are fleshed out and unique even though there aren't many chapters posted so one can expect an enjoyable ride. The style is clean and organized with no signs of apparent errors in grammar, although there are some Korean synonyms used which will be explained throughout the novel.
Overall I give this story a 4.5/5 and may improve as the story progresses - CrunbumRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Seems to be heavily inspired by Coiling Dragon(the review is written as of chapter 2),however it has potential if it goes a more original route as the writing is nice, and the MC does seem to have a personality(might to too early to say this but w/e) unlike with most RR stories that have one-dimensional characters and power-up based plot.
- WizardfrogRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This work stands as a entertaining piece of fiction that follows a bit to close to home for the first seven chapters.
At first it starts out as a love letter to Xianxia novels, and it reads very much like a translation from that genre. The Author even uses many common terms and a couple of words from those novels to reinforce this. The grammar is quite good, with no egregious errors to be found. While it has many of the tropes and stereotypes associated with the genre (ethereally beautiful woman, progidal son etc.) Those are problems of the genre he is wishing to emulate and not his own. I do appreciate the direction the story is going as of chapter 7, while amnesia itself is over done taking the material into a new direction is a great way to avoid the traditional problems associated with the genre.
Of special note in the story are the action scenes, they are very well done and it contains a great mix of powerful men and woman.
I would whole heartedly recommend this novel if you are a fan of the genre. It is fun and has a promising adventure before it.
If the author reads this, I think that although it has kept my interest the story has been progressing extremely quickly. I think the novel needs to stop and smell the roses a little bit; allow your characters to grow and gain some complexity to them. In these types of story's the MC has to be a deep and interesting character AND have cool powers, otherwise it will quickly loose its lustre. - OPMeatbunLoverRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Nice novel please no ntr rape and sexual betrayal lol
- KyrenoxRoyal Road★★★ 3.0This is a review of Draconic Lord up to Chapter 17 Infiltration. This was written by the author who also wrote Elemental God from about a year ago. For any fans of that series, this one is about at the same level or so. Some improvements have been made, but nothing too outstanding. Overall this series feels mid-tier.
The grammar in this fiction is decent. There are a few mistakes in the early chapters, with more appearing the longer you go. This is mostly due to the lack of a PR staying on, though. One of the biggest problems I have with this series is the lack of proper dialogue tags. This can be extremely confusing during reading because a lot of time the characters all speak in the same way. The word choice is almost always of the same general vein.
As for the style of the series, I would compare it to the average xianxia. However, this isn't necessarily a xianxia for those that think that it is. It describes practically all women as being inhumanly beautiful, to the point that I began rolling my eyes in a bad sort of way. The diction gives the feeling of an Asian novel that has been translated over into English. For those that like that sort of written story, this would be a fairly good one on here.
The bad things with the way this story is written is that it does a lot of telling, with little showing. Things are just told, either through the narration or through clunky dialogue. In fact, the dialogue in this story is my most hated part of it. A lot of it seems to only serve the process of giving information, and doesn't feel like a natural part of the story. When the main character gets his Beast Soul, it becomes hard to separate who is talking even more.
The characters in this story feel generally flat, and the story seems rushed. The author does a lot of what I call "Glitter Gushing", in which all of the introduced characters tend to have extreme backgrounds to make them interesting. There isn't a single person introduced as of yet that is normal. Sure, the
