Description
Michael had little ambition aside from succeeding his father as the town alchemist. Life was simple if a little dull. The story reads well, with the grammar well done and easy to read. The characters are likable. I am hoping for a bit more backstory or character-building. Might be coming in later chapters.
The only annoyance I had was the transition between "Scenes." The Author could have made them a simple one-sentence transition but instead used the Story title as the jump. Not super important but does break the flow for me.
I am intrigued to see how Michael will grow and would recommend this story.
