Description

Samael was a half human-half demon which is a result of a human experiment. He somehow did not lose his sanity unlike other test subjects, and the Devil jewel shard infused miraculously. He escaped with the help of the jewel’s power and was on the run. The kingdom has issued a huge bounty over the last remaining test subject, to be retrieved dead or alive.

Things looked grim for Samael while fleeing from the military, bounty hunters and also struggling to not lose his sanity as the shard started to take control of his body and converting him to a demon.

The jewel’s acceptance itself meant he was deemed worthy to be a candidate to the Demon Lord’s position, the sole human to be a demon lord candidate among the other chosen 100 pure blooded demons. This is the journey of Samael's survival and his quest for revenge.

I'll keep it short for now, as of chapter '1.3 The remains of my humanity' this is what I can gather.
Its got a good concept going here, if a bit cliche. The delivery seems rushed however with how fast he is out and how little we know about what happened to him bar he was experimented on.
Grammer actually isnt horrible which is a rare thing on here as you know, some commas and a couple missed chances for the enter button but not bad.
We know nothing about the character which I could get if there was a reason but the author basically skipped the whole backstory thing, I get its too early to say anything major but still.
The character constantly swaps personalitys from complete emotionless, to battle hungry, then to serious, then to joking in the span of like 1 chapter.
No other characters so far except the guy he's been fighting for the whole chapter of 1.3, and other than some exaggerations like "It's been 100 years since I had such fun" not bad
So the consensus is basically cool idea, bad delivery, no backstory so far (for the character at least. We do know a bit about whats going on at least), and a charcater with multiple personality disorder. Not actually as bad as it seems and if it didn't seem so angsty I could definitely see myself reading quite a bit more.
I suggest trying to flesh out the character and HIS backstory so we can actually connect with him, give him a reason for doing all this, and give the enemies some personality and dont try to make them a cheap 2-bit villan like "I'm super evil and super mean to everyone for no reason!" But then again they are demons so I guess it can be like that but try to make it a bit more believable.
