Description
Lee Jae-Yong successfully found a job the next day after getting fired of his previous job thanks to his gaming companion, Kung Sung-Ho. Working now under Sung-Ho's father, Kung Sang-Chol, Jae-Yong started his intensive training before the official release of the virtual reality MMORPG game, The Dark Ages in two years.
Intending to become the best player within The Dark Ages, watch how Jae-Yong climb the ranking ladder as he helps Sung-Ho and his guild to reach the top.
This is his story, the tale of the once forgotten legend known as Shy, The Demon Emperor.
Author: I'm not an English native so I hope that my sentences don't seem too weird or hard to read for you guys (I hope you guys can point it out if you find any of them). This is the typical litRPG virtual reality Korean novel that you can find on the internet.

- 01LigarkyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Takes the events in "First Contact" and builds on them in a wonderful way. More from the Wordsmith...
I am currently reading First Contact for the second time, and then I need to re read this to get up to date on it again. And that doesn't even mention the ongoing book... - RayyynRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0My one complaint is that I had to search manually to find this gem!
If you like First Contact then of course you'll find this just as pleasant a read.
This story covers the time between First Contact and Nova Wars. Give it a read and then head over to Nova Wars for more great sci-fi! - ShadowKnightZeroRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am so very excited for Nova Wars now. The lessons, hard won by those few able to withstand Dee's intentions, will become sorely necessary for their continued survival. The Dra. Falten, Stre'vikhal, and Glenkalkil Empires need to learn from these people. My favorite so far is Taskapak, mostly because I love the freaking cartoonist way he "Does Science". I can't wait for Nova Wars, and the return of some of the Apostles. It's gonna be a great time.
- Zaus88Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0Love the content of ralts! And this is looking to be just as, if not better than frist contact.
I would highly recommend this story if
A: you read frist contact
B: you enjoy scifi stoeys of epic proportions.
And C: You want to read a fun, immersive great story.
If you are all three read this story! - Der_TerminRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Expect an epic space odyssey that throws you through time and space just like the Story it follows up. You properly already read First Contact / Behold Humanity and know what to expect. And from the first few Chapters it looks like its a worthy continuation.
So after finishing First Contact / Behold Humanity we find our selfs a couple thousand years in the future with some new players in the galaxy who are ignorant in their superiority complex to the old guard. Read till 0.3.3 before writing my review and we can already see the beginning of culture cracking the young races who, in their struggle to get the upper hand in their conflict with each other, try to discover technology through reverse engineering Terran tech. From what we have seen so far the confederacy isn't really in tact but neither forgotten nor disbanded, feels more like everyone is taking a vacation till terrasol gets back in chat. I for myself hope it happens sooner than later, while I also could enjoy a slow start I feel like the end of first contact gave us already some foreplay to the return of the mad lemurs of terra/terror.
--NOTHING FOLLOWS-- - ObsydianOceanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0After the First Contact ended I immedietely jumped back to re-read it and so I missed this being a thing almost untill Nova Wars was announced.
I feel justfied because FC is quite long with a one THOUSAND chapters but this, I'm almost loathe to say, feels even better executed.
I recomend you read the First Contact before this semi-sequel for context and added emotional and fun factors. It will be well worth it.
Then, and only then, you will be able to properly appreciate how Dark it is now that the warming rays of The Wrath Terra Sol were snuffed out...
And how bad if an idea it was to bottle all of it up and let it stew for over fourty thousand years... - R4wloRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Following on from the conclusion of First Contact we now get to see the Terrain Confederacy become the boogey man. The precursor, forerunner race of sci-fi trope.
Honestly the thing I love most about this is the quoted nursery rhymes taught to children of other races about the terrans at the start of most chapters so far. - 0x0FRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This is a continuation of Fist Contact/Behold Humanity, but you could have not read that series and still be able to follow along.
Style - Everything is over the top, but still somehow believable. Ralts has a style that works for this story and seems to work for him. Don't expect a main character to be interacted with, as with Humanity being the main character it is mostly how others deal with them.
Story - If there was one category I could give six stars on, it would be story. Ralts has a very interesting and engaging story. It makes up for some of the flaws in grammar alone.
Grammar - Ralts needs someone or himself to proof-read his story. There are spelling error, grammar errors, and then switching between spelling out letter/numbers to the letters/numbers themselves. Example - Ach pee - five will change to HP-5 and back.
Characters - Great and everyone seems to have believable motivations for things they do. Almost none are one dimensional (except if needed/for the Lolz).
Overall - If it wasn't for the massive grammar mistakes this story would be perfect. - David GilesRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5This story lands in a rather strange place. It's a good example of HFY fiction, doesn't have the problems of the story that follows it and is a good exploration of the post-Terran galaxy that First Contact left us with. Yet it's short (by comparison) length leaves me asking whether it would have been better to take it onto the end or beginning of the much longer stories it precedes/proceeds.
- ZeleniyKrokodilRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This is a transitional story between "First Contact" and "Nova Wars." And that's where it should all end. A little more Detaine. A little introduction to new players. A little clown face. Overall, this gap feels almost necessary to reading "Nova Wars."
Damn Omnislarps, damn Mar-gite, damn Mutants, glory to SCIENCE! More loot boxes, poor beggars. Is the ocean naturally acidic or not? Telkan want a chick! Become a chick?! Do they even want anything? The Lanks haven't even noticed for 40,000 years since the disappearance of the humans. John Connor's cult has died out. Cigarette roaches aren't what they used to be... Mantises are praying like children. Ancient Terran horrors continue to act as ancient Terran horrors; the tautology of Terran horrors is inevitable because of Terran horror.
The evil universe is playing a tune, and it feels like it's the size of a galaxy. They say there's a black hole at the center of the galaxy... A big black hole... An incredibly big black hole... But that doesn't concern us.
