They say you should dig two graves if you want to go looking for revenge... so, it's a good thing I've already died once because the delusional one-eyed maniac that railroaded my life is going six feet under, one way or another.

You see, this is what happens when an ordinary guy is reborn as a not-so-ordinary child and is forced to shoulder the world’s burden for his survival.

Luckily for me, saving the world and revenge are just two sides of the same messed up coin.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

- Meaningful growth that feels realistic, fleshed out, and above all: contributes to the narrative. There'll be no gaining strength just for the cool factor even if the strength Naruto gains can be cool.

- A slow-paced story—it's just a quirk of my writing. I enjoy fleshing out characters, exploring their minds, and attaching them to readers, so that when it comes to the conflict and consequences, I can deliver the maximum emotional effect.

But I understand it can be frustrating sometimes. I've been told my story is one better binge-read in the earlier stages.

- Slight tweaking of the power system & world. Full disclosure: some of my changes to the world are inspired by or are either directly taken from "Naruto: The Outsider's Resolve" by FictionOnlyReader. The reason is that it's something that's come up in our discussions regarding worldbuilding in the first place.

Not ALL changes, but a fair few. I'll try and keep the spirit of canon in mind as well.

We are friends, I'm not a thief... at least, not a mean-spirited one anyway.

- I'm ignoring things from Boruto because I want to separate this story as much as possible from the world-eating, planet-hopping, numbskulls that are the Otsutsuki.

I’m 16 chapters in, and as a longtime Naruto fan and avid fanfic reader, I have to say: this story’s unique narrative direction is seriously impressive.
It’s a refreshing, bold take that still feels true to the essence of the world while carving out something entirely its own.

So far, I am early on into the story, but I have to say that this is a very well written and well layered fanfiction. I feel like the teacher of their character here, Naruto that is the reincarnation of someone else, is very realistic, and responds to his environment in a believable fashion.
I also like that we are able to see events from other perspectives at times, so that we can understand the reasoning behind some of the actions of other character characters. Even if we might not condone or agree with those actions, we at least are able to see where they are coming from.
the other main side, cast of characters are also very well written, and I like that the butterfly effect is pretty noticeable, even if it isn’t massive from the get-go. There are very understandable changes that happen, and the main character isn’t just following the script from the anime or manga. in so much as as possible when he is at such a young age, since he’s pretty much doing his own thing anyway.
Overall I would say that you should give this story a chance, since I think most people should enjoy it, and if it’s not your cup of tea, at least you gave it a shot.

I've read hundreds of Naruto fanfics. It's hard to find a really good one. This story deserves to be familiarized with it. It's well written. I like the way the main character is characterized, as well as how the other characters are written. The dialogs are interesting. The fight scenes are written very well, dynamic. Guys this author is really good and has a very interesting take on Self Insert Naruto . Author takes liberty of diverting the original plot and bring in new ideas ( what ifs ) interested to see how the upcoming Chunin Exams go.
While the story progress is slow , it comes across as more genuine as you can feel the MC more . Although the MC is a training maniac and is obsessed with the future there are also lessons he is learning from this precarious situation of second life .
Don't expect going in with the Naruto Uzumaki you know about it though, that will only disappoint you and it's not fair towards the author who is trying to make something of his own and unique.

I really liked this story. But I'm terrible at writing reviews so take the stars please and thank you. I enjoyed watching the mc grow into his position. This is a reincarnated as the MC story, but other worldly knowledge doesn't come up too often, they definitely have more vibes of what will happen rather the details. It's also satisfying that most of the changes are caused by MC having a different personality then Naruto, and the ripple from that.
This fiction generally does have the issue of children not sounding like children, though that is standards for the genre, and is a plot point in early arcs

very good logical clean writing, the AU stuff is done excellently and genuinely furthers the story. The pace is very good and realisitic writing has prevented it from becoming too much of a power fantasy. The butterfly effect has been managed well, it feels a bit like Stephen kings writing with the way things connect together.It is clear that this has been written with great care, I look forward to more works by this writer, if they are anything like this they will be fantastic.

This is one of the best Naruto fanfiction to exist. As per the author's summary the story focuses on multiple character developments and fleshes out a real world based on the cannon. The author has developed and included many characters and the main character himself nicely. Their worldview, the cause of their actions and the most important thing what happens when you nudge the original story a little and the ripples it causes. This is going to be one epic journey.

At the end of the day, the novel is progression fantasy, so it has an MC that is hardworking and reaps the rewards of that work. Too often in this genre, I see an author who goes too deep into that archetype and creates a robot that is called the MC but in reality is a program that the author coded to work non-stop. This novel manages to keep the mc as a hard worker but doesn't make him become a video game character for the readers to watch level up.
This novel tends to underutilize the knowledge from reincarnation, but in this case, I think that adds to realism. Readers are too used to seeing some robotic MC who is a jonin by age 12, stops all crises, and faces no real issue.
I am slightly confused about the extent of antagonism between Kurama and Naruto when he should be aware that befriending Kurama is the secret to his strongest power-up. Truthfully, I believe there should be a deeper level of empathy from Naruto. That being said, it could be argued that seeing the death of Naruto's parents could be impactful enough to override this knowledge. Not too sure.

Overall, I think this is a solid Naruto-fic/progression fantasy that manages to keep the MC likeable without falling into the common traps of Naruto-fics.
