David wakes up to the blaring alarms. He has to pick up his wife from her night shift. He hasn't received her call yet. He texts her. The message doesn't go through. He calls her. The call doesn't connect. It seems the networks are down. He decides to go to her.

The atmosphere is eerily silent. There is an emptiness all around him. What is this strange feeling that is encapsulating him? Why aren't the messages going through to her? Has something happened to her? Or is it just a technical glitch?
