- Hormisis_NoobRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5The Anthology is pretty good. There were ones I really loved and other I found good. Give it a read and decide for yourself.
Style: Anthology style books are often a hit and miss with each story. This one kept it fairly fresh for being a story a chapter. Author does seem to fall into the creature trope which stays relatively fresh with each chapter. Though most of the stories also seem to follow the haunted house trend wherein the MC inherits or buys a new house, only for things to become spooky.
Story: Stories themselves are enjoyable and don't seem to have any problem to my eyes. I liked them overall and just hope we get more verity.
Grammar: Understandable and spaced well. Hooks could use some more work but good to read for me.
Character: I don't hate them but often I found myself not immersed with the character. A pit fall for Anthology writers with so little room to work with. Some stories were very good and make me become immersed into, while other felt blank or 1 dimensional. None were terrible but I do hope to see more characterization with each story's MC.
Overall: Good for a single writer making a anthology like story. A few weak points but nothing so offsetting it made me drop it.
