The Crimson Cult

Story was initially a concept story written in 6000 words with that was then expanded to a full 30,000+ word Novella, with chat gpt.

The story is of a man who is a hard boiled Boston cop, who returns to his hometown to find his missing brother. He quickly finds out his brother was investigating a local cult and was kidnapped. After rescuing him the brothers begin to investigate the cult and find connections to an ancient serpent god named Dionin.

This story is listed as a fan fiction because it connects Bram Stoker's final book, Lair of the White Worm to its later movie adaptation by director Ken Russell in a way that makes the movie a true sequel to Stoker's original story, and then progresses it further with this story.

This story is still in beta editing stages. I would like feedback as it goes along on how I can improve the story and writing style so that it moves away from the glaring AI writing to something mostly human, and can get published officially.
