- DanceLikeAFoolRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I always dig a story with vr. This one includes boxes, skill through use acquisition, and detailed scenes depicting rich characters. It is a fun start with foreshadows of future conflict. Super excited at the direction it is heading.
Will check back when there is more to update if necessary. - PriestaRoyal Road★★ 2.0I enjoy the plot but distaste the characters. All the characters are cliché anime inspired, full on 'dere' vibe. The way the characters interact and the way they behave are exactly what you expect from anime scenes.
Some characters are marred with flaw in term of the way they behave which in opposite of their given background. For examples, a character who is a frequent vr player act naively when interact with stranger in game and a dandere character that one shot every monster that she encountered, overpowering other characters without rhyme or reason (changing ones race is not equal to power especially early in game).
The mc is ok so far, but with the author embracing the anime aspect of the novel, I expect him to degrade over time becoming a horny middle schooler as our dandere girl is full on blushing when mentioning our mc name.
The writing style is quite enjoyable though.
