Hundreds of years ago, mysterious obelisks began to appear, spewing toxic energy that corrupts the environment while summoning in other worldly creatures.  The gods have abandoned humanity, hiding within their Divine Realms. Mortals devote themselves to other spirits, and in turn are granted support to fight against these obelisks that are slowly taking over the continent. Roy Ballast just wanted to join the fight as a mage. But when his Patron Spirit gave him the magical Champion’s Crest, his ability to use magic was destroyed. Now, decades later, Roy is given an offer he can’t refuse- control over a pocket dimension even more advanced than the Divine Realms.
