[Edit 11.23.2023: corrected my own conjunction error.]
Jaha Rider’s story: A “girl,” a girl, and a very special “girl.”
I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO START.
Before I begin, yes- I tend to talk about the things I liked and loved; I am not King/Master/Emperor/Queen of Publishing With Five Thousand Editing Degrees; any of my compliments AND ALSO criticisms are all HUMBLE OPINIONS!
Let’s go. Here are my five thoughts.
    1) I still can’t- the first several chapters had me simultaneously shaking my head and also smiling; I’m pretty sure I got stared at by the 4 people around me as I read past Chapters Fifteen to Nineteen; I STILL. CAN’T. BELIEVE. that there are only 21 chapters at this time (though realistically, I know I probably should).
I’ve read a lot of online stories, I will never be able to really keep track, and yet somehow this STILL falls into my top 20 as of November 2023. (Again I can’t keep track anymore but in my head it is totally top 20.)
What I absolutely LOVED was how this author took a concept and a character that are (for many of us) so un-relatable, and yet still made these things so relatable and as much as I “hate” Farre, she is my favorite character so far- I feel like she adds so much value to the book and its story!
There were errors, yes (and I will discuss these very specifically later in this review), but the narration was a 95/100 and I didn’t consider *once* putting the book down.
    2) I think the author once mentioned the story or its writing might be a bit “clunky,” which honestly it is but in the most engaging and fun way possible. (I relate to this and like this specific style as a writer myself.) I say this about certain qualities: not every person who writes can execute this; sometimes, not even the ones that are “the most popular.”
    3) Big pro: the characters you’ll hear about a lot make the dialogue and the interactions a laugh and very entertaining. A small con, in my humble opinion: I personally wished other characters weighed in a bit more,
