The tales of the teenager, Maximillian Hunter, as he traverses through high school and battles evil villains, his teen angst, and himself.

This original story draws inspiration from my childhood and teenage experiences.

It also draws inspiration from media I'd enjoyed when I was younger.

This is Chapter 1. The Beginning.

On his first day in his new school, fifteen year old Maximillian Hunter finds out that he's not as alone as he'd earlier thought. However, darkness lurks in every corner.

Maximillian Hunter, the son of the famous ex-actress Julianne Hunter, has a simple problem.

High school.

The problem being that this teenage boy, for varying reasons, just can't seem to stay put in one school.

A part of the reason being that fitting in is not a thing that Maximillian Hunter has ever been good at.

After all, there is nothing quite like Maximillian Hunter.

However, contrary to what he'd earlier believed, he finds himself making friends who actually seem to like him.

And even more contrary to what he believed, he realizes he's not the only abnormal one in Hypercity High.

Except that ....

.... there are more abnormal things going on in Hypercity. A lot more.

And in every corner, lurks darkness.

And sometimes, darkness enough to kill you.
