The prose seems rich in description and epithets which brings an immersive feel to the story without sacrificing it's pacing.
Characters have their own well-developed personalities. Their interactions seem natural, as well as their worries and motives.
The descriptions are rich and they bring a feeling to the story (Good example being Umbra, her appearance and presence portray her as a dark character with an ominous tone, which I personally like.) When she shows up in the story she briefly alters the entire mood of the text.
You may notice my review is short on critique, but honestly every critique I have is completely subjective, and the book is well-written overall.
It stands out as a skillfully crafted and immersive character driven fantasy story and I'll recommend it for everyone who loves character driven narratives.
Clearly underrated, a hidden gem of a sort. I definitely recommend reading it.

Vivid descriptions and imaginative language bring the setting to life, allowing us readers to fully immerse themselves in the experience. One thing to consider is the slight spoiler in the pre-author note, maybe put a spoiler tag or remove possible spoilers.
Story Score: 5/5 The plot is engaging and well-paced. It's a thrilling adventure filled with twists and turns that keep you on your toes. The combination of intriguing lore and character development adds depth to the narrative, making it more than just a typical fantasy tale. The Lumina Arts is interesting, I even took some notes.
Grammar Score: 5/5 There are no noticeable grammatical errors, and the writing is polished and professional. The sentences are well-constructed, contributing to an overall smooth reading experience.
Character Score: 5/5 Character development is a highlight of this story. Seraphina,Alessa each with their own motivations and voice that evolve throughout the story. Their relationships and interactions feel authentic.

I'm a few chapters in and the story has me hooked. I really like how the author introduces the characters and the world we step into without too much exposure or boring details.
We get a tour of the school, taking classes with the main character as she just lives her life with her dreams and ambitions. It becomes clear very quickly what her motives are and how she unfortunately fails at accomplishing what she wants to accomplish.
Her friends are well-written, each having a little personality of their own. I'm curious to see how their relationship will evolve further ater the inciting incident. i'm hoping for some good teenage drama as well! 🤣
The main negative comment that I have is that how the chosen one narrative was introduced wasn't so believable. It's stated and not questioned, which instantly gave me villain vibes for our main character who gets "seduced" by the promise of power.
Nevertheless, so far it's a fast-paced read with beautiful details of light-based magic. I particularly liked to read the action during the lessons, it was fun. I can already picture the artwork for this. I am confident that I will like this story all the way.

    Overall 4.5⭐️
Chronicles of Lumina is a vibrant fantasy novel that takes on an interesting direction with its magic system. The world-building is vivid, and the story opens with an engaging introduction to the Astral Auditorium. While the first chapter lags a bit due to heavy exposition, the subsequent chapters pick up the pace.
    Style 4⭐️
    - The writing style is very strong, but has a slight tendency towards repetitiveness in some places - mostly when it comes to the main character Seraphina’s internal monologues and her insecurities across the initial three chapters. By contrast, the visual descriptions of the classrooms in the Astral Auditorium and magic are the strongest points of the writing, and do not overstay their welcome. Some room for improvement, but overall solid.
    Story 4.5⭐️
    - The story starts off with the MC kicking off their final trial in the Astral Auditorium and exploring the various workshops available. While this is a good start-off point, there is a huge amount of exposition in the first chapter that I feel could have been spaced out - either in subsequent chapters, or perhaps in a single prelude/new first chapter that serves to introduce the world at large. This would help keep things more tightly-focused once Seraphina enters the Auditorium proper. Another issue (to me) is that within the first five chapters, there doesn't seem to be much of a higher-stakes central conflict - an apocalyptic prophecy is mentioned as early as Chapter 1, but there's not a lot of elaboration on this. Other than that, the story progresses at a good pace - the MC is far from a natural prodigy at magic, but their encounter with a certain magical artefact later on promises a change in that status.
    Grammar 5⭐️
    - Grammar is excellent, no issues here. The writer has a good grasp of all the essentials, and I was never taken out of the story by any spelling or punctuation errors.
    Character 4.5⭐️
    - I have some criticism about the main character Seraphina - while her trajecto
