Okay, first things first...if you are gonna read this story, you...probably will need to come up with the right mindset for it since the pace is slow, that's not a bad thing, respect for the author for making sure that every detail of the story works in favor to the large narrative that the author is striving for, but at the same time I can see how it can not be for everyone.
I personally already came with the expectation that there wouldn't be much action (As for right now) and yeah, I was right, I might even say that sometimes it feels like a slice of life for most chapter.
BUT, thankfully, when it does have action, it's good, the author puts as much care to it as the rest of the story showing that it will probably have a major focus as the story progresses.
Finn is a good MC to follow, the conflict between his current self and past self is one of the main pillars of his character and the cause for one of the major turning points of the story.
Grammar: Okay, usually, I don't have much problem with grammar, as long as I understand it I can roll with it...but there are some spelling mistakes that I had commented on that I hope get fixed later.

This novel takes ‘epic’ to a new level. First off, the world is obviously large—you get that general feel as you start from the very first, metaphorical page but… But the character starts out so small! We meet a baby—literally in the beginning—and our knowledge of this new world grows as he does. We learn the language, the other characters, the magic system…all through the eyes of a child. While, of course, that explanation takes a little bit of reading time, I found the premise to be completely brilliant. The viewpoint at each stage of growth really somehow leveled up my knowledge of the world and system; I liked it. It worked. I’m intrigued by the connection with the gods and this obvious past life/reincarnation.
Style-wise, this story leans more towards flowing, long sentences and paragraphs. I am more of a shorter-sentence reader myself, but I found myself really enjoying the ebb and flow of the writing; this author has talent. The scenes were painted so viscerally. In calm places, I felt tranquil. In the throws of tension, I could feel that suspense. All through the writing. Well done.
I didn’t notice any grammatical errors or things that messed with my enjoyment. This one is definitely a building plotline, but give it a go if you’re looking for a really engulfing, large-feeling world. It was a definite ‘follow’ for me!
