Description

It's summer in the City and the whole place has gone mad: someone's kidnapped (catnapped?) the Daughter of the Queen of All Cats.

It isn't long before someone comes knocking at the door of Connor the Dream-Walker and Laurence the Hungry, wizards for hire and proprietors ofThe Open Eye. But of course, what seems like a straightforward job, to find the Daughter of a Small God, comes with more than a few complications, and it isn't long before the City, our plucky wizards, and all cat-dom are threatened.

You could say it's just another day for our plucky heroes, but they'veneverhad to deal with a case like this before.

This is the first story in what is a planned serial urban fantasy set in The City; a place of modern-day magic.

Instead of "what to expect", I'll say the inspirations are Jim Butcher, China Mieville, Neil Gaiman, Ursula le Guin, and a little horror tossed in for flavour. The goal is for one chapter a week, time and life permitting.
