The Burning Empire

When a nuclear war burned Earth apart, a new empire arose. Rebirthed from the ashes of society, the Phoenix Empire prospers and grows. When Jason Werner is discovered to have an incredibly powerful Gift, he is sent off to the Academy to train his Gift for the good of the Empire in the war on terrorism. Jason must learn to conquer both his Gift and his classmates in his struggle to achieve.

This is a Sci-Fi / superhuman novel. It is my first real attempt at a novel so any and all feeback will be appreciated.
