Description

The Bridge to Forever is a place where no one ever dies. Not permanently, anyway. If a Pathfinder is killed, they respawn and attempt the innumerable trials of the Bridge all over again.

But immortality creates bad habits, and when the Pathfinders return to earth, they view human life as dispensable. Abusing their godly strength to treat mortals like dirt.

Lan is a victim of such cruelty, forced to spend years living on the brutal streets after his parents were murdered.

As he grows older, his hate for the people that killed his parents, and the Bridge that made them that way festers.

And when he finally gets the opportunity to sneak onto the Bridge himself, he only has one thing in mind.

Destroy it.

An interesting perspective in the tutorial so far. Definietely hooked by the promise of actual universe building. I'm not yet sure about the MC, but character growth seems natural and there are plenty of side POVs that hint at further intrigue...
The format works on my mobile. Hopefully it will continue well after Writathon!

I loved reading the story and enjoyed the world-building concepts the author developed. Good characters. Good degree of tension as we follow how the MC will survive, thrive, and meet the near-impossible ranking goal he set for himself. I look forward to when the author can return to writing and continuing the story.

This is a fun story that while a bit unpolished, has me eagerly awaiting updates.
Imagine a bridge that spans the multiverse. The bridge is almost like a tower from books with the tower climbing trope. It's filled with danger and all kinds of zones. People find wealth and power as they cross the bridge. And theoretically, at the end of the bridge, a wish will be granted.
The wish is a pipe dream. The climb isn't.
Our MC wants to become a climber, essentially, but essentially fails his psych eval. He's deemed unsuited.
He thinks it's because he can't be controlled by the powers that be... that they fear what he might become. And of course access to the tutorial isn't democratic. It's highly controlled by the existing elite.
So the MC sneaks in and joins the yearly tutorial. There are tutorials happening all over the multiverse simultaneously, but the only one in his area is happening now. It's his chance to seize power, forge his own destiny... and perhaps, if he makes it far enough, he'll be able to destroy the bridge itself.
The tutorial is fun and I like the bridge resurrection mechanics. The MC is OP in that he essentially has perfect weapon mastery as his personal ability. His power is only bounded by his creativity in what constitutes a weapon. A pen is a weapon, as is a stick or sword. But what about water, or magma?
I look forward to how the MC will develop his ability.
If you like the tower climber trope, definitely give it a chance.
The prose is fine, sometimes a little rough. The grammar is also mostly fine, with occasional errors. Neither is a serious issue.

Pretty good read. Makes me want to read more, but not my one major pet peeve is. The grammar. The author, I think might be non-English speaker, because he has written few books by now and by now he shouldn't mix up characters.
If you look past the grammar and mix ups good read, but I mostly see this in new chapters. The first 3 are pretty solid on that part.
    Brick-San approved.

Short review: cool characters, good writting, funny humor, scratches that Tower of God itch.
Bridge to Forever starts with the main character sneaking into the titular bridge, with the objective to destroy it. The setting is very ToG: a inhuman, probably divine structure that tests those that enter and rewards sucess with power. The bridge itself seems to be neutral, if running on nightmare rules, while the people that live on and around it it built a society of exploitation and inequality.
It's a good take on the trope, with interesting, if not super unique characters and powers.

This story is very much different from other stories of its caliber, it has taken the LitRPG formula and tweaked it to make it a much more interesting story than your basic isekai with a system. The style of writing is a bit off putting, the author uses long sentances instead of larger paragraphs to do interactions and exposition, which does take a second to acclimate to, but otherwise doesn't take away from the story at all.
    Story:
Speaking of story, I consider the Bridge to be one of the most unique concepts/plot devices I have seen in recent times, it has a great setup to introduce the system and the main characters. The sinister themes the author seems to be setting up are excellent, and I can't wait to see how it unfolds!
The power progression that the characters undergo seems to be box standard, not to discredit the author, there isn't much conflict so far other than higher levelled enemies and the classic 'people sabotaging / bullying characters' that are common in almost every single story.
    Grammar:
Grammar is fine as far as I can see, no grammatical errors such as bad sentance crafting have been spotted. There ARE some minor spelling mistakes, but they are very few and far between.
    Characters:
The characters are well done, with a few flaws. Lan and his special ability are well written so far, with his backstory being somewhat tropeish, 'evil unknown character kills MC's parents, MC wants revenge on evil character / major force in the world and uses powers to get said revenge.' His power on the other hand is something very special, the ability to use anything he wields as a weapon is something you don't see often, and the drawback of being unable to use any weapon that has been enchanted feels like it will cause major issues down the road, and I can't wait to see how he tackles it
The supporting MCs, while bare boned (due to the time of this review), do show promise to become great characters, with their unique interactions with Lan so far, I do hope that th

At the start I would have rated this story a 5, but as it continues it becomes a harder read for me. Some chapters are excllent and I really enjoy them while others are just jarring and kill the story for me.
The world and system are interesting and well done. The explanations we get are organic and not forced. We do seem to miss some key information sometimes but that could be because the MC is kinda clueless.
The MC is problematic for me as he starts strong and fumbles as the story goes. He regains his footing in some chapters and that shine from the start comes through.
One of the biggest issues I have is the POV switches as they really detract from the MCs story for me. They come at jarring times and sometimes are just multi POV switches with the MC as an afterthought. I understand trying to develop side characters and flesh out things but I feel like the balance is off. That could be part of the problem overall from the start to where we are currently.
