The Border Element

Melanie is an elemental spirit who suffers from borderline personality disorder, and an ex-member of an agency dedicated to keeping the spirits of society in check. After being betrayed by those closest to her, she finds herself in a downward spiral of depression and self destruction. Only when she is visited by an old friend does the world she tried to bury come back to haunt her. Still struggling with her lingering issues and trauma, she is thrust back onto the front lines of elemental society and forced to face everything she wanted to forget.
