The Book of Questions

(Will begin posting January 7, 2026 and every Wednesday after that.)

Like most teenagers, sixteen-year-old Amber is trying to figure out herself, the world, and life in general. Her way of doing this is to journal in an ordinary school notebook using some of the thousands of prompts that can be found on the internet. She explores topics like her relationship with her single mother, 'adulting', being bullied at school, poverty, and witchcraft.

This is a glimpse into that notebook.

What to Expect:

An epistolary story about coming of age during a time when magic is stepping out of the broom closet and crawling out from under the bed;

A strong female protagonist who is at a crossroads and way over her head;

Weekly updates of around 1,500 words - for now. Frequency and length will fluctuate due to the authors chronic health issues and life in general.
