I just reached the end of Chapter 9, and I must say; I am very, very impressed.
To start with the dialogue throughout the story; different styles, ranging from plain ignorance to complicated wisdom. Subtle tongues wielding powerful words. A great pro for me in style. However, the reason that it is not completely 5 stars is that the pace of the story sways from time to time. Sometimes at wrong moments.
The story; my god. An epic plot overall, worth the 5 stars given.
Grammar-wise, there are some mistakes here and there. Tautology is a bitch to be reckoned with, as is the occasional overlooked mistake.
Your characters are great. However, just not perfect. Try making sketches and mind-mapping characters, as then you may see how they will react upon certain things, which you can then add in the story to intensify the emotions felt.
Added up, a sublime 4.5 stars from me. I'll be always looking forward to updates from this story, and I hope for you that someone will come along and offer you opportunity in the business of plot-design, because you deserve that.

    Style:
Even though accordingly to what was written in the 1º chapter (00), the story is being narrated by the god Lycom, a story that happened  years before, which should be in the past, but there are lots of times that are described as present… and we don’t see much of the input of the god on the matter nor his personality (yep, narrators can have their own personality, especially one that is “real” per say in the world the author creates, and also in this series case he should be the one responsible for world building). The input of the god would be a good way to connect things up, after all it’s a story being told by 3º person (an observer point of view) who can’t read the mind (but maybe peep around), and so his input based on the actions of the others is be important.
There’s is also a lack of connectivity/problem with the flow between what the characters are doing and lack of description (like when the mc goes to the temple, there’s no moment that says they were going through, just that they left the house), be it of scenery (at first I was thinking that it was like old Rome or Greci, then came the goblins…. so, how is the world?), action or gestures (when the characters are speaking they scowl, or are angry, have a silent rage, are exploding, -- the emotions and way to express-. They way you write visually can also be a way to show the character expressing themselves, like “I will repeat just once more. GET OUT!”).
The flow of the story seems that many times are forced, there should be ways to make it more fluid (like on chapter 2, it’s all too stiff, even if the mc is quite cool headed he should show some hint of emotion and reactions, and actions that leads to others actions are with gaps in between). The talk is confuse. There’s too many disconnection between what they are talking. The sudden change of topic seems strange (not done properly). In all, your story seems like a draft or piece script.

I stand by my statement. This is boring. The hook is non-existent. Some old dudes argue the laziest argument ever, then a trip to the library with the manservant in a failed attempt to uncover a plot. That's everything up to chapter 02. Chapter 02 kind of picks up the pace, but by that point it's ruined. The whole thing feels like tinfoil hats and Cspan.
