Dean Sykes did not know when the world went dark, but then again, he is blind. Tucked away from the rest of society, he lived a quiet life. Now, he is thrust into a role and position that most likely will cost him his life. Aided by no one but a bat that occasionally screeches, Dean must fight for his life and decided whether he is willing to save society when they turned his back on him.
P.S.
This is my first novel and I will be trying my best with it. I am open to any suggestions, and I may potentially be rewriting a LOT. This idea needs to be refined still but I hope you all enjoy.
Weekly Release: I'll shoot for 2-3 chapters a week. Probably only be 1.5-2k words. Might be less depending on hw

I hope you can make the feel more realistic from the ML's POV . Having real life blind friends to research/interview may give a deeper resonance about visually impaired protagonist regarding their thinkings, instinctive reactions, and other emotions in a weird world.
