The Blackstar Chronicles

The Blackstar Chronicles is a series of adventures of an initially unnamed crew of super-powered individuals who come together to form a group in a High Fantasy setting, first by necessity or chance and then by choice.  The world as they know it, has been in a tense cold war situation for a thousand years where almost every kingdom is unavoidably allied to one of two morally corrupt organisations.  Our story starts when a dubiously underpowered exile who ekes out a living on the edge of known civilisation meets a horrendously powerful warrior in need of a guide.
