- DradixxRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I'm writing this review after reading the first 10 chapters.
One of the problems of sci-fi, is mixing existing technology (sci) with enough new tech to make a good story (fi) and without breaking known laws of physics (or at least without explicitely telling that they do)
Here the author manages that pretty well, with enough tech to give you an idea of how it works, while keeping it accessible to anyone.
The numbers, forces and speeds he give are calculated, and not just coming out of nowhere, which helps with the immersion of hard sci fi readers.
Grammar and style are perfect, good use of punctuation, no glaring mistakes, good use of adjectives.
Story is original and interesting.
The MCs character feels maybe a bit exaggerated, almost giving it a comical side, but still stays within expectations. The other characters haven't seen much devellopement yet but feel realistic. (Except the french guy, where is his white flag? )
The chapters are a bit shorter than usual here, but that has no impact on the reading.
In the end, good work there, and I hope you continue like this !
Thanks to the author, and everybody that arrived to the end of this review !
