Henry, an average high school student sat in class. It was another normal day, loud students, boring teacher, what more could there be. It was until he heard a mysterious beep accompanied a string of text on a blue screen appear before him. The Beyond Average System, a mysterious entity chose Henry solely on his averageness? Or might it be more than just that. All concerns though turn to dust when he encounters a student with no reflection, just what is happening!?

- pollen62Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5This is a story about an average guy suddenly getting involved in several supernatural mysteries that are taking place in and around his high school. The author is doing a good job of making me want to read more to find out what is behind the mysteries.
The MC is average, so no worry about having an overpowered MC breezing through every obstacle. As of chapter 9, the MC has had as many setbacks as advances, so it is looking like a slow burn story, which is the kind I like. There are some minor LitRPG elements (like the Beyond Average System boxes) helping to advance the story, even when they do not give the MC much help. The setting appears to be the kind of high school I have seen in several different Anime, so it is familiar.
