  I enjoyed this snapshot of a story.
  I like how in the vein of folk stories it feels no need to explain itself. It leaves the answer open to the reader.
  The author may have their intended view, but they do not force it on the reader.
  I would not say this story is terrible dark, though it is dark by modern standards. It is more folk, in the aged storytelling sense.
  There is a minor sentence construction error I pointed out but otherwise, it is technical written just fine. It is awkward and dense. But I vibe with such a writer after my own heart.
  I would space out the first paragraph. Let each line of dialogue be an independent sentence. This is the way of web fiction as it is far easier to read on an electronic screen. Same again with all the dialogue. It is a matter of clarity.
  The story is full of style, the creativity may not gather a large audience but for the lone traveller is it a pleasant read that is different yet offers counsel to the reader. Such counsel speaks to the storytelling of old. Any work by a storyteller can never be below four stars in my view.
  The characters do as they are meant to, they are fitting for the story type.

  Context and background of the situation and the differences between the King Bee and the Queen Bee need to be explored more to really give this story some punch. The ending is good, but it is so muted in that respect that the answer of the King Bee doesn't really set in nor do we see the actual ramifications really play out. A good story, but the narrative could be stronger with a few changes.
