The Author’s Game

Description
The Story of Your Endwas not just a game. Not to him.
Thousands of hours — every arc, every hidden lore, every system he could exploit, every character down to the small decisions that never made it into any wiki. And the one arc no one could ever play — Academy of Endstoria, the arc that only existed as a tie-in novel so dense even most of the fandom never finished it — he read three times.
Two sources. Thousands of hours. More complete knowledge of this world than anyone who had ever touched it.
Then the door opened, and he went in. Not as the protagonist. Not as anyone important. As an extra, a variable that was never supposed to exist in this story. With everything he knew, the plan was simple: observe, don't interfere, let the story run its course.
That plan lasted one day.

- ahrazRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I highly recommend this if youre tired of the repetitiveness and want a new spin on the litrpg genre
I really like the calculatingness of the protagonist even if his monologues do get long at times.
The premise is really interesting and not like those overdone transmigration system tropes where Character A gets quest and Numbers go up.
The side characters feel very fleshed out although they are still shrouded in mystery [Can't spoil]
Overall this is my favorite ongoing piece of fiction right now!
