A newly orphaned girl has the world come crashing down on her but she has to keep it together for her younger brother's sake. After the funreal of her parent the 18 year old girl is approached by her mother's old friend,Jennifer Ashby, to arrange for her and her brother to come live and work for her and her family. Through misfortune the girl is forced to say yes. As she work for the Ashby's she uncover sercets that put her and her brother in the crosshairs of a dangerous game. She soon learn dirty dark sercets about not only the Ashby's but about her family as well.
