Kaiden thought he died. Instead, he woke up in a strange new world called Aterra.
In this LitRPG adventure, Kaiden finds himself in a land where everyone has magical abilities, and dungeons are scattered across the planet—filled with danger, treasure, and opportunity. Determined to make his mark, he sets his sights on joining the military’s deadly Dungeoneer Corps, the infamous dungeon divers who brave these perilous caverns.
But Aterra is no game. Kaiden has a lot to learn—about this world, about his newfound abilities, and about why he was brought here in the first place. The dungeons are ruthless, and surviving them will take more than just strength. It will take wit, skill, and courage.
Can Kaiden unlock his true potential before the dungeons claim him?

- AlsoJohnRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's dungeon game lit in a nicely established fantasy world. Unsummoned by any worldly power the MC must try to blend in and advance. He has some hints and minor advantages from the Higher Power that placed him here but-----.
It can't be known he's from another world and the author has him excuse his missteps by explaining "he's from Chicago". You might think that wouldn't satisfy the reader or plausibly fool the native inhabitants. The author skillfully makes it not only work but seamlessly and enjoyably work.
Like so many other young adults his only way to learn and grow is to join the military. He does.
His journey through dungeon running basic training. Is as concisely well told a training arc as any I've read
Now the plots about to thicken - KM Reader ExtraodinaireRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0the author does a great job at creating a story that seems pretty grounded as far as LitRPG series goes. The MC starts off weak and we're starting to see what potential he really has. I really like the pacing of the series and there's lots of mystery surrounding the world itself. The story is told from one mostly the MC's perspective and while there are other POV switches, I love how the author keeps these sections brief and to just give the reader a more complete understanding of the story and situation, but not completely giving everything away. there's a lot of foreshadowing done and done pretty well. I hope the author makes this a long series because in my eyes there seems to be a lot of potential when you consider the pacing and everything we know so far.
- PharanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am enjoying this book. The character is realistic and fun. It's rare for a character to be so fully captured. He consistantly stays within the frame that the aithpr has written for him. He was basically dead when he left earth so that is his reality through the book so far.
The system the author is using is also refreshing, Basing it off what is normally considered the physical powers is a nice change, his reasoning and explanations make perfect sense. His use of the hidden attributes is great as you have no concrete idea of his actual full stats.
One other thing that really makes love this series is he doesn't go into to complicated math trying to figure out the best min max scenario. As a fun time gamer, who prefers pve to pvp, I dislike the fact that in a lot of the books I read now have whole chapters that I skip over due to math.
The reason for the half stars was personal reading preference. I don't like to many alternate views. But saying that, it was well handled.
The pace of the book is very good. You are left wanting more from the very first page.
I'm really looking forward to more chapters soon.
Well done! - jkmancyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story starts with a familiar enough formula for Isekai, however, the exact reason for how the MC ends up in the new world is one I haven't seen before and it does start a little dark but then soon lightens up. The story is quite amusing and humorous, but grounded at the same time. Thankfully the MC doesn't seem to start with any OP abilities, but can't confirm that for sure as there's still more to the story. Seems like a true zero to hero story. MC also takes an interesting path to start his journey. Not the usual adventure guild or power secret power leveling cave, etc. I'm interested to see where it goes and hoping this author indeed does take this to publishing as he's done before, however, I haven't read any of his previous works.
