Description
When the forces of the Dark One threatened to overrun the Hallowed World, the six remaining Greater Gods called upon heroes from another world to face them. Beating back the tides, these extradimensional beings, now known as 'Archons', have since protected the Hallowed Land from the ever present threat of the Dark One’s return. So says the in-game lore of Archon Online, at least. A plot that’s a little on the nose for a VRMMO, but nothing all that unusual, right? After creating a new alt on the eve of a content update, PvP veteran Matthew Alloy finds himself transported to the world of his obsession, though not as he knew it. Thrust into the form of a level 1 Tinker, he (or perhaps, more accurately, she?) decides to retrace his footsteps towards becoming an adventurer, ready to climb back up the levelling ladder, carve out an existence that can afford to emulate his old life's creature comforts and maybe eventually figure out what's going on, when he gets around to it.But before all that, there's an adventurer's license exam he needs to take, all the way over in the capital. The journey there from Brightsteel Point took only a single scene transition in-game, so how hard could it be?

- JPwritesRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The quality of writing was a pleasant surprise, it is on par with professionally edited works. I've given the author perfect 5s for Grammar and Style for that reason. However, I do have some critique on the subject of style. His opening chapter has a lot of specific gamer terminology which might alienate some readers.
Character gets a 5 as well. The protagonist is an interesting narrator with a lot of personality I look forward to seeing how she will develop as the story continues (I do not mean her build).
Story gets a low rating bit doesn't hamper the Overall because it is still fresh and new. I will improve it as the story develops. I certainly it is going to be more than the done to death trapped in a game plot where the protagonist's only motivation is to find a way home.
