THE ARCHAILECT: Rise of the Titan Blade
Community Rating
Description
The Archailect came without warning. Earth's reality was overwritten, replaced by a system of levels, classes, and endless dungeons stretching across the cosmos.
Humanity was given tutorial zones. Moyosore was given a death sentence.
Thrown into a Tier 2 dungeon as a Fledgeling, he's trapped in a nightmare designed for adventurers dozens of levels above him. No gear. No allies. No margin for error. Just survival, one desperate fight at a time.
But when his back is against the wall and death comes for him, something ancient awakens. Skills the Archailect doesn't recognize. Power rooted in Yoruba tradition that the system can't classify. Abilities that shouldn't exist in this new reality.
The Archailect made one mistake: it assumed everyone would play by its rules.
Moyosore isn't grinding through tutorials. He's grinding through hell - and every level he gains rewrites what the system thought was possible.

- Bloody PriestRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0First I would like to say that as an African, a Nigerian to be specific, I am so proud of this work..
The concept of differing paths in conjunction with the classes providea a unique experience yet It doesn't seem so alien that one is forced to try and figure out what the hell is happening at any point, and there's the relations some of the paths have with myths and legends of Local Deities that are not so well known to most of Africa even that just creates a sort of mystery and a need to check out those myths..
This work just has so many things to compliment and rather few to condemn (that is if you are a professional critic or just a plain hater). This book has some really goosebump inducing parts and is just generally a sensation and a thrill to read. - Rex98765Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5I am about half way through the current chapters so it time for a review.
The good:. I like the MC and supporting characters. The system is interesting and is getting fleshed out at a good pace. The story flows well and chapters come fast.
My (small) issues:
The chapters generally feel like they could have had another edit. Missing/duplicated or wrong words mostly( Willing to overlook since the author is so prolific and I like the story).
I almost stoped reading after the first few chapters, as the transition from "reality" to over powered and relationship with mentor was very jarring. Needs to be more here in my opinion. Thankfully after that the MC's motivations make more sense.
Overall I am really enjoying the story. - FlamingFalconRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I’m enjoying my binge of this story because it does what it does well.
It has a well put together “system”, with interesting power growth that takes the solid elements of various litrpg and shares some of my favourite elements of intents and so on from cultivation novels.
It being based around characters from a lesser explored culture also makes it feel fresher. And with how the power system works it makes the breakneck pace and constant power ups feel satisfying.
The world itself has decent depth, my only issue is how that depth feels entirely surrounding the higher level beings, overall system and moyo himself.
For the most part the secondary characters, particularly the ones on Earth have been glossed over besides the occasional quip to show Earth’s development. And a lot of the timeskips to focus on moyo make it hard to find connection with them. Which makes certain parts of the story less impactful.
It’s been a while since I’ve found a story in this style that’s been different enough for me to truly enjoy. And for that I thank the author.
I’m honestly surprised this isn’t more popular and I recommend people to read this. - GhostnathiRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I've been waiting for a novel with an MC that isn't white or asian but black of descent. On top of that it has a cultivation setting and is good. All the other ones are on hiatus or have been dropped. Well done to you author as you also included the different heritages, languages etc of the planet and given it a power. I'm currently under chapter 69 and can't wait to get to over chapter 100+.
- HighEvolutionaryRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I'll be honest. I hate bad grammar. In fact, I go out of my way to avoid anything that has spelling errors, grammatical errors, etc.
However, this novel, despite its grammatical flaws, has engrossed me in. It's fascinating and I love how the author takes time to open up on all the characters and stuff.
I'm looking forward to seeing how far this novel will go.
All I ask the author to do is work on their grammar and ensure that the novel is well edited before its release. - JamalCheat2Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5Style:
although the author uses tried and true tropes from the best of literary RPG novels, he does it very well. I really enjoy the sense of humor and references used. I especially enjoy the use of cultural African religion and mythology as an American that doesn't see those explored. Only took a star off for the aforementioned LitRPG tropes used.
Grammer:
Doing this one next since it's the lowest score. The grammer is solid where it counts but there are consistent instances of misspelled words or clunky sentences. The pros can also be a bit simple making some scenes and chapters a little hard to engage with at times as well as to clearly imagine. Overall it's much better than even some published works I've read.
Story and Characters:
Doing these both to not repeat myself. I feel that the story and the characters are where Into The Archeilect really shine. Very few time do I feel that important or even side characters don't contribute to the story and the themes. I really appreciate when an author takes the time to make how character interactions matter even when it's many chapters down the line.
I'm looking forward to when Moyo's sect leaders each gain their weapon/artifact from him. I'm also hoping he gets to go back soon after the tournament to get them up to snuff.
Overall:
I'm enraptured by the story thus far. It's been a while since a LitRPG has gripped me like this one and kept the momentum going. I'm excited for the future of this story and hope the author takes care of themselves to avoid burnout. - AspectsRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0"Into the Archailect" follows the same general structure as "The Legend of Randidly Ghosthound" or other stories in that vain. A overpowered main character who goes from one event to the next crushing all opposition. Supporting characters are raised to extreme levels able to defeat everyone of a comparable stage. Enemies perform their underhanded schemes only to be bested by the brillance of Moyo and company.
Despite all of that this is still a enjoyable story. While I would appreciate more actual danger, there is a certain satisfaction from reading about Moyo crushing all opposition, power fantasies exist for a reason.
The world established is interesting so far with the different powers all quiet unique and hints at greater existential threats on the horizon.
Some of the other reviews already pointed out the African culture woven into this story. My two cents is in line with that, I appreciate unique cultural approach and its cool to see and learn about different gods that I hadn't read about before.
Characters overall are ok. Moyo is getting nicesly fleshed out and isn't the completely a complete idiot in social situation like so many other OP leads. Secondary characters haven't really had a chance to shine. They are given a few scenes here and there but I don't feel like they have been given enough time to actually fully devlop into their own people. I do appreciate how unique all the names have been a lot of stories wil have a bunch of secondary characters with similiar names and not enough fleshing out as characters for me to easily tell them apart.
In conclusion if you enjoy reading about an overpowered lead defeating the bad guys one after another I would recommend this story. I enjoyed it and it is exciting enough that I look forward to reading more in the future. - RauthrMysticRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The story was marked magic. That tells me the oc uses magic. However by chapter three all indications are that the character will be martial of some type.
Now that doesn't make this a bad story. The little I got off the system seemed neat and the skills hinted at forget complexity in the story.
However for me, this should just be tagged Fantasy. It's unfair to tag a story with inappropriate tags. Well unfair to the reader which is who the tags were for in the first place.
So if you like martial LitRPG read this. - SherpADerpRoyal Road★★ 2.0I can't get past the first raining arc. The sudden teacher is just boring and the story doesn't really progress at all beyond a bog standard sword and system OP MC, with the trainer being an even more powerful sword and system MC. We're told the MC suffers so much but the suffering starts and ends so quickly it feels trivial. I wouldn't even know where to start with how to fix this, as for me personally there is nothing interesting happening.
- YulweiRoyal Road★ 1.0The Good
- the action is pretty good and usually fairly easy to understand
- you get the thrill of numbers going up
- MC is coming from a unique culture compared to most on RR and it seems to not just be window dressing
The Bad
- the grammar is sorely lacking especially in terms of punctuation. The story is understandable but it seems like the author just pumps them out and doesn't edit them at any point during the process or after. Also he also uses words in the wrong context due to them being similar sounding to the right word
- I feel like certain characters degraded in order to allow the author to take the story in certain directions and I can't help but feel certain story beats were altered due to the RR community's overblown reaction to them
- the pace of the story is breakneck
That's about it. If you want a power fantasy or an African protagonist finally helming one of these things then read it but otherwise I'd give it a miss
